This year the event is dedicated to the Cuban people wherever they are around the world and it will showcase the music, dance and the arts of Cuban culture. Thank you to everyone who supports Cuban people by promoting their culture or working to normalize relations

Children’s books available for purchase as well as packaged prints of the illustrations in Spanish and English versions by Cuban-born author painter and illustrator Rafael Arzuaga.
Come meet Cuban-born author and illustrator, Rafael Arzuaga, at the Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco on Sunday, October 11th. Rafael will be hosting a table in the Center Lobby from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Rafael is a painter who started writing and illustrating children’s stories when his daughter was born in 2008. He will have his three children’s books available for purchase as well as packaged prints of the illustrations from his books. Rafael’s books were written in Spanish and he has English language versions available as well.

Sunday the 11th, Regina M Tolbert will be at the workshop from 12-3pm selling her creative handmade folkloric skirts.

Two week program

One week (all percussion)

This trip will take you to see both the cultural highlights of Cuba as well as explore the everyday Cuban experience. The two week long program includes classes, workshops, lectures, excursions and live performances where you will interact directly with Cubans.
Program Fee Two weeks $ 3,175
One week $ 2,500
Fee includes:
-Round trip flight from Havana-select city

-4hrs of classes daily and daily materials
-Daily transportation
-Lodging with your own private room & bathroom
